1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account details: name, email address, password
• Profile data: age, height, weight, fitness goals, training preferences
• Menstrual cycle and health symptom data (if you choose to log it)
• Injury and medical information you choose to share, such as injuries or conditions that affect your training
• Food intake and nutrition logs
• Workout logs, custom programs, and training history
• Messages or feedback submitted via contact forms
• Content you post in Community features, including posts and comments
• Messages you send to the AI Coach
• Videos you record or upload for the Form Checker

Information collected automatically:

• Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
• App usage data: features accessed, session duration, interaction patterns
• Crash reports and diagnostic data
• IP address and approximate location (city/region level)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate your personalized Daily Readiness score and training recommendations
• Power AI-driven nutrition coaching and workout planning features
• Improve App performance, features, and user experience
• Send transactional communications (account verification, updates, support responses)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your health data for advertising purposes.

3. Health Data

SEMI Brands LLC may collect sensitive health information including menstrual cycle data, injury and medical information you choose to share, HRV, sleep quality, nutrition intake, and fitness activity. This data is used exclusively to provide and improve the App's core features. It is never shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Health data you log manually (cycle tracking, symptoms, food, workouts) is stored in your account and processed on our secure servers.

You may delete your health data at any time by deleting the relevant entries within the App or by requesting account deletion (see Section 11).

4. AI-Powered Features

SEMI Fit uses artificial intelligence to power certain features, including personalized workout program generation, the AI Coach, nutrition coaching, food logging assistance, form checking, and exercise suggestions.

When you use these features, relevant data — which may include your training goals, equipment, injury or medical information you've chosen to share, food logs, photos, workout videos, or messages you send to the AI Coach — is sent to third-party AI providers, including Google (Google Cloud Vertex AI) and Anthropic, to generate your personalized results. Workout videos you record for the Form Checker are uploaded to and stored by our media hosting provider, Cloudinary, and are analyzed by Anthropic.

This data is used solely to power these features and improve your experience. It is never sold, and is never used for third-party advertising or shared with data brokers.

You can choose not to use AI-powered features at any time — during onboarding, or later in Settings — without losing access to the rest of the App.

5. Third-Party Integrations

We may in the future integrate with third-party health platforms to enhance your experience within the App. When such integrations become available, each platform's own privacy policy will govern how they handle your data on their side. Details will be listed here when integrations are available.

6. App Permissions

SEMI Fit uses your camera to scan food barcodes and, if you choose, to record workout videos for the Form Checker. You can also choose an existing video from your photo library or files. Videos you record may include audio. The App uses these only when you start those features.

The underlying app framework includes certain additional system-level permissions in the iOS build by default, including Bluetooth and Speech Recognition. These permissions are part of the platform SEMI Fit is built on and are not actively used by the App at this time.

7. Community Features

If you choose to share workouts or participate in Community features, certain information — such as your name and workout summaries — will be visible to other users. You control what you share through the App's sharing settings. Community posts and comments are subject to content moderation, including user-initiated reporting and blocking.

8. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: trusted third parties who assist in operating the App (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or government authority
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — you will be notified before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy
• With your consent: for any other purpose with your explicit agreement

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure server infrastructure, and access controls limiting who can view your data.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can delete your account directly within the App at any time through Settings > Delete Account (at the bottom of the Settings page). Upon account deletion, your account is deactivated immediately. After a 30-day waiting period, we delete your personal data from our systems. Our hosting provider may hold deleted records in a recovery bin for up to 30 additional days before erasing them permanently, and provider backups expire on the provider's own schedule. We aim to complete deletion within 90 days of your request, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business interests (such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution). Form Checker videos are stored with our media hosting provider. To have your videos removed, email us at privacy@wearsemi.com and we will delete them within 30 days of your request.

11. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your account and associated personal data
• Export a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@wearsemi.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an in-app or email notification. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
